A former NCAA All-American and record-holding thrower from Queens College, has dedicated his career to developing elite athletes. As the Throws Coach at Queens College, he has guided athletes to conference titles and school records while also coaching numerous throwers individually, helping them reach their full potential.

I have known Joe Brancaccio since 1982. I was coaching at Columbia, where his good friend attended. He asked if he could throw up at Baker Field. In the years I was at Columbia, he was as dedicated a hammer thrower as I have ever known. He also helped with the other throwers. Later, he became an excellent coach at Queens College. We have been in touch ever since, and I know he is extremely knowledgeable as a throws coach. In fact, he is one of the best hammer coaches right now in the US.
